Are you ready to make new friends and sharpen your art skills? Perhaps you want to relax with a new hobby? Maybe its that you want to lean back into the to wonder of analog in this high tech world? Sketchbook Club meets once a month and is led by professional artist and muralist, Brie Adkins. Brie takes the club on a journey of prompts each month, that are fun and lend themselves to creative skill building. She will not only be guiding the classes, but be hosting friendly critiques for artist that want to share their work. Also Brie will encouraging homework based on those classes to keep the sketchbook alive. This class, age 10+ gives opportunity for youth, parents and grandparents to connect and go on this sketchbook adventure together. Each class, students can expect: A variety of drawing prompts that help build skills and ideas to fill a sketchbook A skilled professional artist's instruction Accountability and group critiques A community of people with a passion for creativity Classes are held the LAST TUESDAY of each month, 5:30-7:30 Entwistle Library, Program Room All skill levels welcome! Registration for classes in advance and commitment to the club are encouraged, drop ins are always welcome. Bring your own sketchbook and favorite drawing medium.
