I could never just fall asleep, even as a kid. My mind races until the sandman’s comes and sprinkles his dust in my eyes, and he’s always running late. Even still an eternal flame lights the deepest ocean floors of my subconscious. What is it for an artist to dream, but an impossibly bright light surrounded by hope and desire.
